Lambton Raptore are a Basketball England registered club which enter U10, U12, U14 and U16 teams in  the Durham League and the Newcastle Eagles Central Venue League.  

Led by experienced head Coach Arnel Juan-Clemente, the Raptores train on Wednesday evenings and on Sundays. They also have a mens team; Lambton Legion which play in the Durham League and host weekly open runs for adult recreational players on a Friday and some Sundays.

Currently based at the Raich Carter centre in Hendon,  the Junior Titans hold weekly junior training sessions on a Thursday for children in primary and secondary school which are run by experienced  Basketball England qualified coach Simon Wood.

Sunderland has many outdoor basketball courts  but on dry, mild weekend days and evenings, the double courts in Barnes Park are the only place to go for pick-up Basketball games of widely varying quality.
